Transverters, locking antenna selections

Tom Worthington
Tom Worthington Member ✭✭
I have two transverters attached to my 6600M.  They are always physically connected to the same antenna ports, the 2m transverter always uses RXA and XVTRA, the 70cm transverter always uses XVTRB for both receive and transmit.  Is there any way to ensure that when I select a 2m or 70cm frequency, the correct antenna connections are enforced?  The problems occur when I do satellite operations.  If I switch between U/V and V/U satellites I have to manually re-establish the antenna connections.

    Tom,

I use FlexSATPC for satellite work on 2M, 440M, 23cm using a Flex 6700. I have them setup on two different XVERT ports. You can see a diagram on my QRZ page.

The key is to setup a profile for EACH satellite and save it with the correct antenna selections. If you'll email me I'll send you my profiles and you can customize them from there. That will save you a lot of time. w4ax.mack(at)gmail.com

Thanks, I'll email you and give that a try.  But it would seem reasonable to be able to fix the antenna ports in the transverter configuration definition and not have to worry about it afterwards.
