Tried to read other solutions but none fit my situation. 6300 Radio  Using SDR version 1.6.17.74  WIN 8.1 Set Sound Card "Recording"  Microphone 4-USB Audio Device to Default.  Connect Hi End Headset Mike to USB 3.0 Port on Dell.  Talk into Headset Mike - Get nice Audio VU indication. Set SDR Mike Selection Panel to PC.  DAX Control Panel Window shows ON for Streaming Mic Record Gain.  Talk into Mike - No Streaming Audio there or No LEVEL audio shown on SDR Control Panels.    It's got b something simple or is it?  Reason for USB Mike is that the hand held stock mike or an equivalent Yaesu handheld are NOT clear!  Yaesu a bit better but still complaints.   Tx Eq default flat.  i.e. OFF  Thot maybe PTT of handheld wud enable Mike path by chance but NO.    Flexradio is great - only having probs with Mike Audios!   I want the 6300 to sound prestine at our Texas Star Party - SPECIAL EVENT STATION W5TSP starting at END of this month May 1 +     OOPS!  Just discovered the problem!!!!  DAX must b turned OFF when using PC mike selection.  I left the above POST just in case other folks go down this path!!!!  Will ck on air audio quality with USB mike.
