The Factory Reset option when starting up the Flex 6X00

When holding the OK button and then powering up the Flex 6X00 there is an option to reset the radio to Factory Defaults after holding the power switch for 5 seconds. Does this actually set the radio to Factory Default - or is it not implemented and not documented for a reason?

It is not implemented.  I would assume that a reset function will be added when there is persistence after a radio reboot.  For now, removing DC power from the radio after it is powered down using the front power button will reset the radio to factory defaults.

Actually, cycling the power from the front panel does a full reset of the radio with the exception of the GPSDO if it is always powered on.
