The 6700 and SmartSDR v1.1 is amazing!!

Finally got my 6700 and I *love* it!  I disappeared off of this forum for a few days because I've been playing with it nonstop.  The audio reception is incredible.  My antenna is basically a wet shoestring 20 feet off the ground since I live in a HOA restricted neighborhood, but it feels like I have a 200 foot yagi.  I can hear so much more than I could with my Icom 7000.  The panadapters are extremely useful for seeing where activity is taking place.  Receiving JT65 is very clean, I've decoded -25 db signals which I could never do before.  Can't wait to see how SmartSDR matures over the next year with new updates!

Welcome and congratulations!   My Flex 5000 is in it's box and the FT2000 only gets turned on once a week now - the 6500 has become the go-to radio for me.

I live about 24 miles from you as the crow flies!   Hope to see you on the air - I'm about to setup JT65 for the first time on the Flex.
