Thank you Dudley for helping me over the phone.
Thank you Katie for looking after the shipping details.
Thank you Greta for doing the repair.

I sent my radio in, when it arrived at Flex Katie E-mailed me to say they got it and she was sending to the repair department.

Then she told me they were looking into my problem.
Greta later told me she found the problem and is now being tested. After that she soon sent it back to shipping.

Katie then told me she got the radio back from repairs and she is boxing it up and sending it back
to me.

Who does this?
I think the time it was at Flex must have been around 4 hours or less.

So it is back on my desk working very well.

Thanks every one....

I can concur on for the same exact treatment by Flexradio. How dare they acknowledge receipt of my Maestro, find the problem, repair the problem and send it off so quickly. How dare them.

I am jealous because my radio had an amazing turn around also.  Radio was received by Flex late afternoon on Thursday and sent to repair Friday morning.  Was notified repair was complete on Monday and on it's way back to me today.  One couldn't ask for more.   That is why I am patiently waiting for the 6600M.  They just take care of their customers.  Bravo  Rick, K2RB

What I'm hearing is Flex doesn't get a lot of rigs to repair, the repair shelf must be empty most of the time!  Considering its complexity, that speaks of a solid design; my 6500 has been running flawlessly for 4 years now, hope it stays that way.

I had a very similar experience when I returned my F5K for repairs a few months ago. The long wait I was expecting turned out to be just a few days. Kudos to the whole Flex team! The few interactions that I have had with the folks at Flex have been very positive. That's why I'm on the list for a 6600 and PG.   Thanks Flex!  Mark K5XH
