A few weeks ago I posted that my front panel display on my 6500 seemed dim. Over the next few days it continued to dim, until it was no longer visible. I contacted Flex (Dudley) and we both agreed that the display module was probably the cause. Initially, I wanted to replace it to avoid the cost of shipping (and insuring) my 6500. Dudley suggested that I remove the display PCB and just return that piece. We scheduled the service for this past week while I'd be away on business. I shipped it last Saturday for delivery Monday morning and I included a Fedex Next Day shipping label for the boards return. The repaired PCB was back in my hands the following Thursday - that's just 3 days at Flex. For anyone out there who is considering purchasing a Flex radio, I'd dare you to find any other manufacturer who is this dedicated to keeping us on the air! My BIG THANKS to Dudley and Gretta who have once again reminded me why I bought a Flex radio! This company really keeps the "customer" first when it comes to "customer satisfaction"
