Suggestions for default profile recovery

Reading through the comments on the upcoming 1.6 release some ideas that would fairly easy to implement come to mind. I commented on the ability to delete default profiles, which I welcome, and how to recover them. It is understood the factory reset is always an option but not always the desired activity to just restore a simple item. This is especially true if you are remote and can't do the reset.

1. Provide the default profiles as a download on the site to make it easier for those that forgot, didn't think to back them up initially, lost the files, etc.

2. Add to the documentation the suggestion to do a full back of all profiles initially for future reference and help reduce the need to do a reset

3. Add a simple yes/no option to backup/archive the profile prior to deleting or just automatically archive profile

4. Add a warning when deleting a default or any profile suggest that a backup be done before deleting in they are needed in the future. This might be annoy if done for more than the defaults if doing bulk clean up

Providing the radio factory defaults as a download is the easiest to implement and addresses the oops didn't back them up mistake. The others are just suggestions for user best practice reminders or a way to cover the user (#3).

    I agree, number 1 is easiest/simplest.  Don't need no suggestions/warnings/options . . .

This will potentially also make life easier for Flex as this could come up in service scenarios. Might save some service calls, esp. Number one.

Agree..Having a small file available online with default profiles would solve a lot of problems without undue added complexity.  Perhaps it could also be included in the installer for future updates and be automatically downloaded into a directory when the installer runs?  That would add a ittle complexity, but not to the SSDR program itself.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
