Sudden shut down of 6500

Hello All -  Not sure this is a problem or not, but here goes.

Running a 6500 with a "Neal Special" computer. V   I have noticed if the rig is left on for a period of some 4 hours or so, using both xmt and rcv, it will shut down with no notice or error codes attached. Doesn't have any temperature issues, all well ventilated.  It is just like I pushed the button.  Restarting causes no problems and it continues on as if nothing happened.  Doesn't seem like this is normal.  Could this be an omen of bad things to come?  Anyone else notice this before?

If the timing is regular about same amount of time each time look to your computer for thing that may be allowed to go to sleep due to inactivity.
My best guess. Network cards, hard drives, video card(s) etc...  this is an example of the Network card setting. Un-check the box

I don't turn my 6700 off at all! It runs and runs and runs with no issues. I keep it on 15 or 20 CW ready to make a qso upon my whim. I suspect that Dan is right...some setting is shutting SmartSDR down.
