I have SSDR/F6500 half way working on my Samsung S3. All works well except the microphone! Anyone out there using remote on their Android phones. I tried several BT headsets and only the receive audio worked. Everything else looks good.

Hi Reggie!

I suggest u use the Parallels Access app, right?

The Parallels Access app for Android does not support voice over microphone (just try to open the settings in the right vertical bar on the app screen, the microphone icon as showed in the iOS app does not appear!)

Same problem here. Maybe the'll fix it in one of the next versions.

I am using parallels access on my Galaxy S3. Everything works except the microphone. Hopefully Parallels will have a fix for that. This past weekend I checked into a net remotely using my Ipad and Access from 120 miles from home. Audio both ways was excellent from reports.

Hey folks,

they just added the Android microphone in the Parallels Access app as an input!

Everything fine now.

It is set up in SSDR as per instruction for DAX use. Then I run parallels Access on my android phone and it displays  SSDR gui on the phone. Use it just like  setting in front of the host computer. Nothing to set up on the phone.  I am running win 8.1 on a Mac computer using parallels and parallels access on my Ipad Air and Android phone. Access lets you access you desktop on your mac and use the computer as if setting in front of it.

I meant whether there is serious lag in the interface turnaround and the audio.

If anyone needs help installing it, first have a look at the great How-To: Remote IPad Operation of 6000 series using Parallel Access App --- Update. June 17, 2014. Thanks to KY6LA for that!

This should clear every question. If not, just drop me an Email and I will try to help.

P.S.: Streaming SSDR to my Smartphone works great! My daily use: Listening to some real CW signals during the break at my office.
