SSDR Connection Lost on Restart

Has anyone else seen this? Scenario: Run SSDR successfully. Shut down SSDR cleanly. Wait several hours. Run SSDR - radio appears in chooser. Connect to radio and get "Connection Lost" message. SSDR shuts down. So far unable to find a pattern. If I reboot the radio OR the computer I can reconnect. Since rebooting the computer or the radio takes 5 minutes, I don't consider these adequate workarounds! Could it be related to the computer going to sleep? Doesn't seem like that would matter when SSDR's not running. Configuration: Windows 8 laptop SSDR 1.0 and 1.0.5 Gbps LAN connection

I have a similar problem with my Dell Laptop. When It goes to sleep, I have to reboot the radio, quit smartCat, restart smartCat and PSDR. I have no problems with my Dell desktop.

The weird thing is that SSDR isn't even running. Flex has errata not to leave SSDR running while the laptop sleeps - which leaves the radio in an unpredictable state about half the time. But no warning against letting the laptop sleep when SSDR is shut down. Don't get me started about starting and stopping SmartCat! Looking for ideas on other things to try to pin down the problem.
