SSDR Crashed by Shockwave Flash

Now that v1.4.3 is so stable on my machine it is very unusual for it to lock up or crash. And, I think this has allowed the culprit on my machine to reveal itself.  I can run SSDR for hours with zero problems.  But, if Chrome browser is running with a tab open that uses Shockwave Flash things become unstable.  First sign is gaps in the waterfall.  Then, the network status bars start dropping into the red.  This usually ends in a crash.  The worst offender found so far is the Weather Underground site.

Clearly not Flex's fault.  But, just wondering if anyone else has seen similar issues?  I do not know enough about Shockwave Flash to understand why it is causing issues other than it is noted for stealing non-GPU assets when it feels like it.  Fix is obvious for me - stop running that plug in or stop running sites that use it.  Easy!  :)

Still loving my 6700 and v1.4.3.

A PC with more horsepower might be a solution. Otherwise do consider avoiding Shockwave.

Thanks, Jay.  Well the machine is a win7 64, i7, 16 GB memory with a mid-upper end graphics card.  All kind of diagnostics and benchmarks show it to be pretty solid.  Not the best, but should be good enough.

Going to try some poking at Chrome and Shockwave.  But, the easy solution is not running the junk.   :)

Tom it is best practice to run SSDR all by itself with nothing running in the background that is not needed.
