Ssdr and digital

I was trying out HRD but just don't like how the log book operates. I'm working with N3FJP logging software and like it much better. It was a breeze to get it talking with Ssdr.

I had also had a handfull of digital contacts (psk31,rtty and olivia) with DM780, on my previous rig but want to consider something else. What digital software would you recommend I look at, that can do the type of digital mentioned and works well with Ssdr?

Appreciate any insight and opinions.

Thanks,

Jim

Fldigi is the "Swiss Army Knife" of the digital app world.  It is my go-to app when not doing the JT modes.

Try the latest WSJT-X (1.9.0 rc3 as of this writing). Also use JT Alert which allows logging direct from WSJT-X to N3JFP log.

For RTTY the MMTTY software is really good and it works well with N1MM if you are into contesting.
I also like the WSJT-X for other digital modes.
For logging I have almost 70K QSO's logged into Winlog32 since 2000, it is a nice program and is free. It has a lot of nice east-to-use features. Interfaced easily to my 6300 as a TS-2000.

I'm running a 6300.  I'm also using N3FJP ACLog.  For digital I'm running Fldigi and WSJT-X with JTAlert.  I've run this combination for a long time and they all run flawlessly.  Never had a problem.  Fldigi and JTAlert upload automatically to AClog and you can now have ACLog upload real time to LoTW and eQSL.  ACLog uploads automatically to Club Log after 10 QSOs have been logged.  I highly recommend Fldigi and WSJT-X.  Good luck and have fun.  73, Ed, K6VMV

MMTTY for RTTY combined with Fldigi and WSJT-X  will basically cover it.

I am using DXLab Suite but also run WSJT-X and Fldigi with Commander (part of the DXLab Suite that controls the radio and share radio info with the logbook app DXKeeper).
I found the DAX audio setup to these programs was very easy and straight forward.  But I had a new ham over today and WSJT-X wouldn't work, my operator error was explained by the DAX Control Panel.  If I hovered over the DAX TX Stream it told me "DAX TX Stream would not TX unless you enable DAX in SmartSDR", my visitor discovered the DAX button in SmartSDR and all was well but my ego.
