Spots not in 2.3.9

I just upgraded to 2.3.9 and the spots that were appearing in 2.3.7 are no longer being received. The Telnet connection is feeding spots to N1MM+ normally. Ideas?

I got it working by opening up the band spread

Unfortunately that makes no difference here. Still no spots and yes, they are enabled.

Double check and make sure that Spots enabled is active in the SSDR software

It is possible that the setting may not have carried over to the new release when you did the update.

It is enabled. Actually I disabled it, did a cold reboot of the 6500 and reenabled it but still no spots.

I believe I have found the problem in a broadcast setting for the spots to be sent from N1MM+ to the Flex 6500 for them to appear in SmartSDR. Would someone using N1MM+ please let me know your broadcast configuration for spots so Flex receives them? Maybe a screen shot of your N1MM+ broadcast page would be helpful. Thanks a lot!John

Hi John.. N1MM+ is working fine for me.  Do you have SmartSDR CAT running?  Do you have the COM port set consistently between CAT and N1MM+? (Mine is COM4) On N1MM+'s Broadcast Data screen, I have Spots clicked on, then 127.0.0.1:12061 which I believe is the correct port number.  Then in CAT, you also need to define a UDP port of 12061 (add port function).

Using SliceMaster here, version 0.10.5.d. All spots shown in SSDR. I don't like N1MM Logger, using HRDlog and Log4OM instead.

For others wanting to setup N1MM with the new Spot feature in SmartSDR v2.3, see this guide: http://www.flexradio.com/downloads/using_n1mm_logger_with_smartsdr-pdf/.
