Somehow I have **** up my WSJT-X DAX setup and now I am just chasing myself in circles. Every time I change one of the WIN 10 sound card panel selections I seem to make the situation worse. The attached file is a picture of the error I get when I try to open SSDR. I should have but did not record the WIN 10 Sound Card Panel devices that were selected when WSJT-X was working right, and now I can't seem to find the right combination. By this time (about 24 hours of changing things) I am convinced that I need help, and don't have any idea of what I am doing.
Any suggestions are solicited and welcome.

Windows Default sound devices CAN NOT BE a DAX sound device but should show the built in computers or external sound card devices if your running a USB or a expansion port sound card (Hardware Soundcard)
From the error you received you may have the Default MIC set to a DAX channel.

If you don't have a MIC plugged in to the computer to choose from you may have to plug one in temporally to move it from the DAX channel.

Make sure your radio MIC setting is NOT set to PC if you don't have a PC MIC installed.
    hope this helps
