Some Dax Automation

I know too much automation is not a good thing. You find yourself saying....hey...I did not want that to happen. But maybe there is some room for just a bit when it comes to split in RTTY or other digital modes. To work Nambia this evening I had Slice A assigned to DAX1. He was working split so I had to open another slice (B). I had to manually assign DAX 2 for RX and TX and for some reason it seemed like the DAX CP had to be open for it to work. I finally did get it to TX on slice B where the DX was listening and got him on one call. But it took a lot of "fiddling" to get there. Suggestion.... When trying to work split in digital modes reserve slices A and B ( since that is what current applications expect) and configure DAX channels accordingly using channels 1 and 2. I don't expect it would be to hard for authors gurus like Dave for DXLabs to assign the TX sound device to DAX TX 2 when in split mode and DAX TX 1 when in regular non split mode. Of course I may be talking out of turn but I will copy this post and send it to Dave as well to see what he thinks. Thanks everyone.....and Nambia on RTTY was a new one for me. :) 73 Greg AB7R

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
