SmartSDR 1.2.1 - no panafalls or left-hand menus after multiple tries to install on a Windows 8.1 ma

After trying to install/complete_uninstall 1.2.1 in my Windows 8.1 machine multiple times with reboots in between, no panafalls start and none will start.  The only functions that display are the right-hand panels.  The new panafall icon in the lower left is grayed out.  No band/antenna/display/etc. panels will display on the left side.  All works fine on my my Windows 7 machines.

Has anyone else experienced this?  I was planning on using this laptop for Field Day.

OK, I discovered that it helps to read the release notes.  The radio ran out of panafall resources.

Here's what happened.  I installed and tested 1.2.1 on 2 machines previous to the Windows 8.1 install.  By the rime I got to this third machine, apparently the 6700 ran out of resources to start a new panafall.  Note that I had not started more that 3 panafalls before I got to the 8.1 machine.  I had assumed there would be no problem since the 6700 supports 8 of these.  Power cycling the radio solved the problem.

    Working fine now.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
