I did this short 15 minute video on some very very basics of SmartSDR for our new users.

If you are just starting out, this video is for you!
  • Starting SmartSDR - versions
  • The VFO
  • How to hear things?
  • Antennas
  • Bands
  • Modes
  • Microphones
That's about it.  We stay on a single slice and allow you to dial around.

After that, feel free to try things!  It is pretty hard to break it.

    Very nice Michael.
I would like to show this at my ham radio club sometime, but I would like full screen mode. It says it can't be used on this playback?

    Hi Bill

If you go to YouTube, you can get the main link and it should let you play full screen.

What is this SmartSDR you speak of?

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
