smartsdr update from v2.6.1 ?

When might we expect update to v2?   Many of us not contester so v3 not attactive but further improvements and fixes to v2.6.1 longtime comming.

    I second that question!!!

     In particular, will this fix from V3.1.11 be instituted in a new release of the V2 software?

    After all no one wants their SD card to fail.

    Flex does not speculate on date certain for future updates.  

    That said, if the SD Card Corruption issue is a factor in V2,6.1 (I am not aware if it is or not an issue for V2)  I would expect that it will be forthcoming sooner than later,   You go to understand that even the slightest changes to firmware can cause unintended consequences to the myriad of DIFFERENT devices that run the code- so unfortunately it takes time to test as many possible variances of configurations before releasing software.

    @Carl.... I understand that V2 has been feature frozen for some time now and the only changes to V2 will be bug maintenance updates.

    Version 3 is not a contesters only version. Only reason not to update is is you don't want to spend the money. As Howard notes - there won't be added features.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
