SmartSDR Unable to Start

I have a Win 10 Pro 64 problem that I have not been able to mend.  I have not used my 6300 for a couple of months. So updated to V2.6.1.  However, cannot get it to load.  I can see my 6300 in all three programs, but it says no stations are online.  On my portable machine all loads OK.

Checked in Windows Admin Event Viewer logs and it says SmartSDR failed due to "faulting module path c:windowssystem32
tdll.dll   So I presumed ntdll.dll is corrupt perhaps.

Tried to mend with sfc /scannow and nothing wrong followed by  DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth  Also tried in Safe mode.  No joy.  Tried to copy ntdll.dll from another source, but as this is a windows core file unable to do so.

Downloaded to USB key new copy of windows and did install of latest windows leaving apps and files.  I thought this would do the trick!

No, still no joy.  Each time by the way I have uninstalled SmartSDR and reinstalled just to make sure.

I really don't want to have to do a clean install of windows.  Anyone got any ideas please?

It sounds like a connection problem. Is there any fire wall? Anti anything running?

Please try "Method #2" from Microsoft Community to fix the problem.

    https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/app-crash-with-ntdlldll/9aa59f80-99a1-4f3c-b2f0-7eb72df05b2a

the method is to type (in an admin cmd window):

    regsvr32.exe /u ntdll.dll
    regsvr32.exe     ntdll.dll

    Hi Tim,

Thanks for idea. I had tried that, but it would not work. However, on reading MS info you cannot register ntdll.dll. I am running out of ideas!  Also it is a red herring.

I think I am going to have to submit a ticket to Flex.

I would definitely examine your network. The most common cause of these issues is intermittent switches or cables. Next to that, and could be somewhat related, is an inability of your radio to get an IP address (DHCP is usually the default).

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
