SmartSDR Software Users Guide with Bookmarks

Hello All - For some time I have tried to read the SmartSDR User Guide but found it hard to skim thru the pages to find the topic or enter the page number from the index. I found it easy to add book marks and updated my ability to find different areas of the manual much faster.

If someone would provide me with a location that I could upload the file to I would be happy to share with all. I believe this is something that could always be done with the manuals from FRS and make it much easier to go thru the manual.

Here are two pics showing how to select the bookmarks

First just select the bookmark from the left side

Then look down the list and select the section you want.

    Ray,
I am very happy to see that, perhaps this time around there will be a successful appeal to Flex; in doing what you are requesting
From my experience almost a decade ago, I made a similar  request and was met with a very negative answers: such as a simple "NO" to why will you need it, "is already available in PDF" or that printing the manual is very "antique."
I am like you and many other, it is much easier to open a book, mark or highlight the area of interest.
I still take the Flex instructions manuals and print them for reference and for my gratification.
    May you succeed!

Hi - I appreciate your comments. There is a link above where you can download the file but I will send you a copy directly. I believe the great team at FRS who I know are very busy getting stuff out tnde door so I understand. That being said I think this is something that can be done as is very helpful to all of us.

Ray has a great idea (I also would like to have your book mark file). Also a suggestion that if a change is made to any manual I would suggest one or two ways for corrections since printing out 206 pages when an update is made is costly: either post a single page as an correction/addendum or make the corrections as an single insert correction to the original document. It saves paper too.  Neil   N4FN

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
