SmartSDR Software Supported CAT Commands Radio Station Automation and Control

I started this project when FRS released the new SSDR CAT software supporting the CAT commands end of 2016.

I did not have to use the FTDI cables, instead I am using two TCP/IP ports one for slice A and another for Slice B.

Programming in C# is beyond my humble programming capabilities, but the control processor I am using for many years can be programmed in C# and probably can work with the FlexLib.

The aim of the project is to control all equipment, switches (lights, A/C and your coffee machine), provides PTZ IP cams streams for the shack and the antennas cams and use weather data specially wind direction to turn antennas in favorable direction when shutting down ...etc.  Also it will use the radio band data to automatically switch antennas and operate with no unexpected problems.

The GUI can run on a Windows PC or Tablet, MAC, iPhone/iPad and Android.  Local or remote.

I have made a short YouTube video demonstrating some functions that have been completed so far, mainly my Flex radios and some other screens, I really did not need all CAT commands, but it was not very difficult to program.  there will be a lot to be done with other serial protocols for rotors control and rely switching logic.

You can find the video at :

Thanks FRS for the CAT commands support.
