It is a NEO wifi controlled AC switch and an AC actuated relay.
Just plug the switch into the wall, plug the cord of the relay into the switch, and have a cord with an RCA plug running from the relay to the rig.
Under $30 total.
You can get additional NEO units to control rig power supply, computer power supply, etc. the iPhone one android app will control multiple units.
If you don't like the NEO brand, you can get WiMo brand. They are good, but more expensive.
Another device that works well is the Global Cache IP2CC has 3 no voltage contacts.
I use the Roomie (Simple Home) phone app.
A much cleaner and smart method, not needing any 3rd party external weed would be for Flex to implement the wake-on-lan feature (WOL). Almost all I.T. kit connected via Ethernet has this capability and every decent server is shipped that way as standard. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wake-on-LAN
I support hundreds of remote access sites and my life would be hellish and very time wasteful without WOL. Not a complicated bit of software, no hardware or cable spaghetti needed.
