I use SmartLink with my 6600 (rack mounted in my garage loft) and my iPhone XS while mobile.

The 6600 is connected to a 222 MHz transverter and a tower-mounted Create 50-1300 MHz log periodic vertically polarized.  I merely plop the iPhone onto the dash, right above the speedometer cluster, using a silicone dash cradle.

SmartSDR for iOS connects to my Porsche's hands-free telephone system so that I hear received audio through the entertainment system and use the ceiling-mounted hands-free microphone for transmit.

I also have a Flic bluetooth button mounted in the unused ashtray where it serves as PTT and falls readily to hand.

I really love how this has turned out and lets me run mobile from 160-432 with no antennas mounted to my car.
