I happened to look in Task Manager (Win 10) and noticed that Smart SDR is listed twice, once as SmartSDR-Win & once as Smart SDR. The entry shows a (2). Is this application running twice? I'm using an Intel NUC I5 and noticed that when I run CW Skimmer, I'm getting near 100% CPU usage.

SmartSDR has two components.  One is the main application.  The other one is a message processor.  When you get the popup messages, like when a different client connects to the radio, that comes from the message processor.

The CWSkinner waterfall does not utilize any of the hardware graphics acceleration capabilities of your PC so the display is completely rendered using the CPU

Thanks Tim. I am aware that CW Skimmer is totally separate. Seeing the flex software running twice just got me wondering. Appreciate the fast response. Have a good evening!

I've got 16 GB of RAM. CW Skimmer runs fine, it just bugs me to see CPU usage so close to 100%.
