Slice Master found CW Skimmer and FLDigi but ACLog never shows up in the launch window.  Any suggestions?

The launch features of Slice Master are intended to launch and configure digimode programs on a per slice basis.  Logging programs are not slice specific so dont benefit from this style of auto launch.

Logger integration with Slice Master is manual process.  But, Slice Master does have some logger specific features related to spot handling and/or rig control.  With HRD, for example, Slice Master can take the place of their HRD Rig Control module.  With N1MM+, Slice Master can receive, color, and display spots in (or on) the panafall.

So far at least, Slice Master has no specific support for ACLog but it is on the to-do list.  Even without specific support its likely that ACLog could make use of Slice Master's internal cluster aggregation server which would give it access to local spots from CW Skimmer and WSJT-X.

For now, let's hope some ACLog users are willing to chime in and talk about how Slice Master fits into their configuration.

Don, I use ACLOG and as well as all of the other N3FJP loggers, and I think there are many of us who do so .

What I did is simply added the same telnet server I use withing N3FJP to your Slicemaster app and the same spots appear as  populated in N3FJP since there from the same source, I think a-lot of folks may be missing the fact you can manually add a telnet server to your application and have the same spots appear as in there logging application, for now it is at-least a way to get the same info.

Scott N3FJP has some integration with the Flex API since his uses it for rig control on the 6000 series,  its up to him if he includes the abilities of his software to now also incorporate the SPOTS function from within his application(s) as well.

TELNET command line must be performed every time one logs onto the TELNET server.

No all you need to do is add the line in Slicemaster under spot sources and check the box in front of it and every time you open slicemaster the TELNET server will be logged into and pass what filtering you have enabled.

Thank you Richard, excellent idea!  In my case, I'd like to filter out spots from three countries: the U.S., Canada and Mexico using a "reject [DXCC] entities" filter.  Can this be accomplished by using this command?...

reject/spot 0 call_dxcc 291,1,50

Thanks!

I think that is correct, put in a complete telnet command line and give it a go,  simply enough t edit if need, (When you edit within slicemaster watch as i have noticed  when you edit the text line it un-checks the spot source box, just recheck it after you edit to reload it.

I appreciate the clarification.  In addition to using the ACL logging program, I also use MacLoggerDX.  One nifty feature is a setting found in MLDX that filters out spots REPORTED BY stations located more a [user specified] number of miles from my QTH.  I assume this is performed behind the scenes by MLDX through some TELNET command.  Although after looking at the three help guide links referenced above, I am unsure what the particular TELNET command should be.  Do you happen tio know the correct command?  Thank you.

Got it working.  Just didn't have enough boxes checked in Slice Master.  Very cool.  Spots even show up on the M front panel and external display.  Thanks for a great program Don.
