Quick shout out to the Flex team. Here’s a photo of my “remote shack” - work office connected to the 6600 at home.

Smooth, easy, convenient. Bluetooth audio and CWX. Tuning knob, too.

We’ve come a long way!

It's a Bluetooth Griffin PowerMate - provides tuning control and a select function or two for SSDR for iOS.

Well done, looks that same as my remote setup.  I use a noise cancelling Jabra headset, what do you use?

Use CW, mostly. It’s quieter and more fun. Have tried out phone using regular Apple earbuds, though.

Geo,
Great to see and hear from you.
Is this at the new QTH?
HOA and CC&R got me. But, I managed to hang; a few wires here and there .

Ernest! Good to see you. 14th floor very good for 6m. Too much noise on 2m and 70cm, but I’m getting a long 2m yagi and will go roving where it’s QUIET. About to try a magloop on HF. Fingers crossed.

So..what is your internet connection? I have tried remote from a few vacation spots...by so far....net speed must be too slow... since , for example, with smartlink audio is very choppy....Remote Desktop is very slow....
So, for me.. it has not been useful..
Thanks
Tim

Pretty normal connectivity. Just measured 183 mbps down and 6 up at home. Office wifi at the remote side.

I am having connection problems (choppy audio) even when in the same room with the 802.11ac router and a 1Gps internet service. This is on a iPhone X.

I agree. They have more work to do on using Flex remotely, Windows or Apple. I can watch HD video over my ATT cell connection with no buffering but my Flex has at least a 30% stuttering rate. Same problem at home on my WiFi. ( I know Dr.
Howard is going to disagree with me but I bet a lot of users have the same problem but just don't harp on it.) Perfect example is Showtime. Google Showtime buffering problems and you will find a ton of unhappy users. I canceled my Showtime as it always buffered extensively where Netflix and Amazon Prime streamed with NO buffering.  I need my FLEX Radio so please keep improving the software. Finally, fellow users, please do not bombard this post with helpful advice. I started a computer consulting company in 1986. Before the internet, before information technology, and before GUI, excepting GEM and Lisa. If I can't get this to work correctly it's broken.

Sitting in a hospital.

Here my remote shack with access to two remote Flex radios (soon to be three remote radios). My friend in Hawaii is going to host the third one and we are going to share them between us.

Using Verizon cell built in iPad and connection is perfect.

I use a Planteonics Voyager Bluetooth and get great reports.
