Remote power on

It would be ideal if a configuration option for Remote Power on would be provided to keep the GPS running while the radio is off. Currently, when the radio is off the GPS is not running. When you power the tadio up, the GPS must reconnect. Is this possible within the radio's architecture?

    Good Morning K2CM,
If I understand correctly, you want the GPS to go into standby mode when the radio is turned off. For this to work you must leave the PS turned on.
With Radio turned on, go to the Radio Setup window. Click the Tab "Radio". Find the button labeled "Remote On". Click to enable this button.
The next time you turn off your radio, see that the on/off button turns yellow and stays on. This means the GPS is in standby mode.

In your post, you did not identify your radio so I am speaking of the 6500.

Thanks! Remote power on/off is working and the power button stays yellow when powered off.  Looks like it is working correctly!
