Remote control - low Mic audio

I am about to give up to operate my FLEX-6500 in REMOTE mode using a iMac and Parallels. While the receiving audio is perfect, the mic level is far too low to drive the transmitter with an acaquate RF power.

Equipment: FLEX-6500, SmartSDR 1.10.8 Beta, iMac OS Sierra, Parallels 10, Windows 7 (64k)

The mic level is set to 100% on Windows 7 side and the USB Headset is working fine on the Mac side. Switching to the built in mic of the Mac does not solve the problem. As I found threads in Windows 7 forums with similar problems on other audio systems, I created an additional VM with Windows 10. Same problem with my REMOTE flex control.... A thread on this forum "Low level transmit audio" deals with the same issue on a Windows PC, so assume the problem is not on the Parallels side.
Has anyone made a similar experience or have an idea how to solve this problem?
