Remote Computer Configuration.

At the office, I only use SSDR on my computer to listen. I do not need DAX and CAT nor do I want them to come up on a reboot. I could uninstall them. Is there a more elegant method? Perhaps a way to keep them and have them disabled? I might want to transmit if I really need that rare one.

Thanks for the help. Dan KM6CQ

Dan - just remove the DAX and CAT programs from your Windows Startup menu.

You can disable DAX and CAT from automatically running. I googled on instructions for how to do so and it worked for me.

Its not a bad thing to shutoff anyway.  I have SmartSDR on three devices at my house and I have had issues where a computer rebooted and had DAX tied up.  I want to start them as needed.
