Does anyone know how to get PowerSDR to work with the Red Pitaya SDR Radio app? I've installed the program in Windows 10 but it won't turn on when I press the power button and in the Settings doesn't seem to be able to find and identify the Red Pitaya. Thanks.
I got this working, with PowerSDR anyway, it still won't work with SDR#. A fellow named Pavel Demin has a blog with some information on how to set it up to run with PowerSDR and SDR#. A lot of it is total nonsense but some is useful and I was able to get PowerSDR to work, at least.
The SDR# program is supposed to work but it couldn't find the R.P. so following the directions on Pavel Demin's blog I copied the file ExtIO_RedPitaya.dll into the SDR# installation directory like he said to do so now SDR# has an option for selecting the R.P. but when I start the program it still does nothing!
His directions for PowerSDR don't make sense, he says to remove the SD card with the OS on it and put in the one with the custom image file so how is the R.P. going to be able to run without the OS?
"Download customized SD card image zip file. Copy the content of the SD card image zip file to an SD card."
I ignored that and left the OS installed but copied the file ExtIO_RedPitaya.dll into the PowerSDR directory and now it can find the R.P. but when I started it there is an error saying: Invalid Number of Channels, Try Connecting A Microphone to Your Computers Sound Card so I tried plugging in a mic and darn if it doesn't work now! Sensitivity seems to be pretty poor though. An $8 USB SDR dongle from Ebay has a lot better sensitivity than this and if I unplug the mic it quits running but at least PowerSDR works, I'm still not sure what's wrong with SDR# though.
