Recovery Screen on Maestro after Restart

I encountered a Recovery Screen on Maestro after Restart of my Model A Maestro. This unit was been on consistently 24/7 for weeks. and was working normally otherwise, except that it does have the screen orientation issue where it is sideways. I was attempting the previous post where you are to hold the power until the screen appears and the unit eventually shuts off, then power reset to complete. I have done this on several occasions, but on this one time, I got things out of order and pulled the power connector first then held the power button until the screen appeared and eventually shut down. After that the Recovery Screen appeared and no matter what sequence of restart actions I have taken, it persists.
Is there any thing that I can do locally, short of sending the unit in for service?
