I am the proud owner of a 6300, but I have a pulsing (like a drum beat) on receive...probably me, but how do I go about eliminating this sound?  Any suggestions?  Thanks, John K6VFR

John, We're gonna need a lot more information on the sound, like - are you using powered speakers? Is the sound there with the radio off? Do you get this "drum beat" using earphones plugged into the front panel of the radio?
I think you get the idea. The more info you can give us the better we can advise.

Thanks, Roy. All great points. Yes, I have powered speakers and no, I do not hear the pulsing with headphones or when the radio is off...does this mean first step might be that I change speakers?

Try a different set of speakers with a different power source
