PTT not working on 2 meters (144 mHz)

The PTT is not functioning on 2 meter band. KB8RQ brought this to my attention, I tried it, and confirmed it is not working for me either.

I would dearly love to be able to transmit on 2 meters through the antenna port. It is my understanding that this only works through the transverter port and only at +10dBm.

That is correct. 4 and 2m operation are only enabled through the transverter port at low power.
