We're going to need a little more to go on. What mode are you setting the radio to? Are you using DAX? Do you see anything in the FLDIGI or DM780 waterfalls?

Good settings to start with are DIGU mode, Fast or no AGC, AGC-T just to below the point of background noise "knee" (rapid increase), DAX on for the slice you're using, software set to use the same DAX channel, DAX control panel indicating streaming, with the red bar at least 2/3 the way up.

Im using digu, using dax audio 1. Waterfall is sporadic, i see the audio in dm780 but the decode is garbagr.

I'd look for the sweet spot with AGC-T low enough for noise reduction, and the DAX channel slider (control panel) high enough to drive the waterfall to a proper level. Check your bandwidth, too - 3 to 5 kHz seems good.

James, it would be helpful if you could provide screenshots of your FLDigi Audio Audio Connection, DM780 Audio Connection panel and your DAX audio panels.
