problem with SmartLink Connection with SmartSDR v2.3.9

edited January 2020 in SmartSDR for Windows
I'm able to connect my Flex 6600M remotely over 4G etc. - but I'm not able to change the frequency. The Freq. will go back always to 14.260 MHz and I don't know why? If I try to change the freqeuncy with Band on the left hand side e.g. to 40m - it will show 7.xy MHz for a moment and than goes back to 20m 14.260 MHz.
I have no idea why SmartSDR v2.3.9 will behave like this.

Try reloading the Global profile.  I had this same issue one time on my 6300.  Rebooting the radio didn't help but reloading the profile fixed it.  It was a very rare occurrence so I didn't try to track down the cause.  Good Luck, Ken

    Is it Locked?

This caused by the radio being set to low bandwidth when using SmartLink.  I know how to switch to high/low bandwidth in SmartSDR iOS (for iPad), but not in SSDR for Windows.  To switch back to high bandwidth, yes, load a global profile (per Tim's post, below).
