Predefined CW Text for CW

PowerSDR had the feature of allowing the user to put Predefined CW Text in FLEX memory. When operating CW Contest, basically we could have open the PowerSDR CW window and use the mouse to send predefined Text for faster responses. Will this be added to SmartSDR?

Do you need this really? Logbooks support this very well

Though I would first rather see a line ported to SmartCAT so I can use my ACLog program to send CW memories and use the Keyboard send feature, I can see that the CWX memory feature would be very handy for simple remote operation or when using a smart phone, iPad, or other tablet as the interface, or when not wanting to mess with opening another program. The same would be true if SSDR ever incorporated a simple internal digi program like RTTY, PSK31, etc. simple contacts with no need for another program...

Check out the "SmartSDR Roadmap" posted a week or so ago. It showed that CWX is scheduled for one of the future SmartSDR releases. If I recall correctly, it is scheduled for v1.4.
