PowerSDR and SmartSDR running together

I would like to run PowerSDR 2.7.2 and WSPR-2 TX and RX, band hopping, on my Flex 5000A and at the same time run SmartSDR 1.6.17 on my Flex 6700 with say SSB on one slice and CW Skimmer on a second slice.

Is this possible with SmartCAT and DAX loaded.  ??

Guidance and comment on the tricky CAT and Port setup for the Flex 5000A would be appreciated.

Thanks

The CAT ports created by SSDR CAT1.6.17  can not be used to interconnect 3rd party software ( i.e. PowerSDR <> WSJT) .  DAX virtual audio could be used with 3rd party programs with care but independent Virtual Audio Cables (VAC) would be a cleaner solution.

Yes, these applications and their add-on DAX and CAT software packages should operate independently from one another.

Thanks Al, it looks like it could end up a can of worms, re introducing VAC etc.

    Best wishes
