Popping sound when having two panadapters.

I have sound deterioration when having 2 panadapters open.
See the video: http://youtu.be/n7iQEAKcylA
First you have the 21MHz band with normal background noise.
Then I open a 28MHz panadapter and you can hear the popping sound. It is not QRM, as it dissapears as soon as I close the 21MHz panadapter.
The  you can ear again the popping sound , and the the 21 MHZ band with normal band noise.
Can anyone replicate this issue?

A couple of possibilities... first, it is possible that you are running into a system limitation on your PC. What are you using, particularly for a video card (SSDR is graphics intensive)? You might be able to test this by changing the FPS rate on the pan adapters downward to see if it alleviates the noise. If so, it's a PC performance issue.

What I think might be happening, though, is that you have a local noise source that is low enough in level that it isn't a problem on one RX, but when it is audible on multiple slices, the noise is additive and shows up to you. You might test this by muting one of the slices to see if that resolves the problem.

Just my off the top ideas. Might be way off. Good luck!

    Hi George.
It does not look like a PC issue, as SSDR only takes 4% of processor power and the machine has a powerfull graphics card (it is a new machine). But I will double check that.
I will make another video-capture testing the ideas you suggest, at night with a quieter band.
However: it strongly sounds to me (no pun intended) like a software issue.
    Thanks.
