In that regard, I have a few reminders. First, do not violate the "First Rule of Holes", which is if you find yourself in one, stop digging; meaning if you are not getting a sufficient remedy to your issues via the Community, please use the HelpDesk. Opening a HelpDesk support ticket, particularly if you believe your issue may be hardware related or an issue with our software, is the official way to receive support from FlexRadio Systems. But be mindful, the HelpDesk is not your ham radio elmer, that is the primary function of the Community.
Also, this is not a time to go crazy like you probably did when a substitute teacher taught your class in school. Michael has full authority to manage the Community based on our common sense guidelines and etiquette. As a friendly reminder, I have posted them below for your review.
When using the Community always show respect to others regardless of their opinions. Give people the benefit of the doubt, just like you would if talking to them in person. Posts that include personal attacks, overtly negative comments, non-constructive criticism, falsehoods, defamation of character, libelous speech, or gratuitous profanity will be removed, as they do not contribute to the community atmosphere we want to maintain. Any pattern of poor behavior may result in losing your Community posting privileges.
Now you may be wondering why I am taking a short-term medical leave of absence. It is nothing too serious or life-threatening. I performed an unplanned experiment to test the intensity of the gravity well created by the Earth and in the process dislocated my shoulder. That resulted in tearing three tendons in my shoulder that I must have surgically repaired. As I heal from surgery, I'll be back on station, more and more frequently until I am 100%.
So be nice to Michael. If I have to help him out while in a narcotic fog, there is no telling what I may say or do ;-)

We will pray for your safe and rapid recovery.
My advice, as an M.D., take all the opiates you want. I have seen a lot of rotator cuff tear MRI's and I have seen only 3 0r 4 three tendon rotator cuff tears (out of four possible tendons). My specialty?
Radiology, of course.

Pain for me was gone by second day but I got tired of the sling I had to wear in 10 seconds.
What saved my butt was I was a phreak about the rehab. I started the next day with the PT and had one of those arm exerciser chairs in the house and I'd sit in that thing for 8+ hours each day.
Doc at one point said wow... you are recovering very fast. Normally it is 6 weeks before they want you to try any muscle motion. I was doing it in 4. At 6 weeks I was lifting 1/2 a pound. 8 weeks, lifting 2 pounds. I'd work on the stretching and the lifting until I'd get sore then stop.
But I will say that the first 4 weeks were pretty hellish. No pain killers for me as they make me sick. So day one out of surgery with PT was grin and bear it. I could not sleep flat. I slept in an easy boy chair we bought specifically for the surgery.
It seemed though that even though I was wearing the sling that bad things would happen. In Macys department store a girl in very tall heels slipped and fell right into me and I of course tried to catch her. Thought I'd ripped everything out again. My wife was laughing so hard, mostly at the idiot girl in the heels.
Then two weeks later the wind was really whipping and I went out to look at this old fence we had and sure enough while I'm standing there it blows over at me. Of course I put up both arms to protect and figured I'd ripped everything out again.
But now years later that arm is just fine. Strong, usable but if I tear my left one I think I will just live with it. The surgery and recovery are just not fun.
