Playing back audio that is perfectly fine to hear at the radio shack won't translate to audio that gets transmitted as well. Normally I need to increase the AGC to a level that is too high for normal listening but will allow me to TX back for the other party to hear themselves.

I will also remove EQ and PROC so they hear it without any "coloring".

I find that recording with a third party app like Audacity yields a much better final product that you can then share through an email.
Also, if you playback with Audacity and DAX you have extra control on the volume.

If I record someone that is LOUD it will playback loud. Remember that you are probably using SSB so audio level plays a critical role in total output power.

That was one of the issues I had after the update.  I did a factory reset and it appeared to take care of the problem.  Then last night, I noticed it happened again.  I also had trouble with the recording keying via VOX.  After the factory reset, VOX worked then last night it stopped.  Another factory reset I guess.
