Persistence

I am really enjoying my 6300. Great Radio! One of the things it lacks is much more persistence
in its settings, ie Radio Settings, GUI layout, the ability to remember last frequency after shutdown
or band change. Frequency memories with persistence is a needed feature. The radio is fabulous, I think though, these main features are needed and should be in a radio of this caliber. I really hope to see them in the near future.

Getting mine on the morning of the 30th August at approx 11:00z. Antenna hanging tomorrow with final setting up so I can plug 'n go when I get home.

    Good ideas BTW.

Alan, check out the use of Global and Transmit Profiles in the manual.  You can save and name pretty much everything except for the GUI layout at the moment.
