Ok that's it I'm selling my flex, Because of a late feature update. I am going back to my old radio, at least with that I won't have to wait for updates, there aren't any. Looks like I will have to cut back on contest as it hears way out past the bandpass and all the stations sound like mumble jumble. It was taking too much of my time anyways. Oh and I can only use it certain hours because the receiver is so noisy. Yup nothing like the good old days,

Walt, you're right.  It was a documentary on Marin County, California, where there is an abundance of affluence.  There was also impatience -- and immaturity, which is a root cause of impatience.  The story dealt with the sense of entitlement that's such a big part of much of our society.

Part of the satisfaction that one gets from achievement is the journey that gets us there.  If everything just happens, there's a whole lot of the experience that goes unknown.

I have always felt like I was part of the Flex growth experience.  It was as much fun watching the radio advance and being a small part of the process as it is to get on the air with amazing performance.
