Odd behavior?

Been playing in the 10m contest and noticed an oddity. Last night I had the 6600 (current software) on and left for a break when I came back an hour or so later the bandscope was dead. I put the headphones and and yep sure enough the rig was dead. Had to restart everything and it went back to working.

I had the radio on again this morning and looked up from doing some paperwork I was working on and saw the band scope was dead again. Not really sure what is going. I have a Maestro and 6600 combo hard connected so it's not a wifi problem. Then I saw the display go yellow and there was big noise (might have been the neighbor's garage heater which in the past has made big noise for 10 mins or so while it ran) Now the noise floor is back to normal and I see signals. Not really sure what is going on if it is external or internal. I suspect internal since the rx was dead twice. Thoughts?

I have a 6600M and been operating the 10 meter contest all weekend on and off with no issues. I use SSDR on Windows 10 machine for contesting. The radio has been on 10 meters continuously.

I'm not sure if this is related to your issue, but my PC (Win7) wouldn't activate SSDR this morning.  Turns out it was a Windows update I recently received.  I went through the Restore process (to an earlier date) and everything started working perfectly again.
