I like your shelving. Nice and heavy duty!

That was my treat for my old age. Wall-to-wall custom cabinets deep work surface keyboard high because I hate keyboard drawers

Ham radio is to be heard and not seen. That's why I like my low profile 6700

Choices for everyone. That's just one of the reasons I like the 6000 Series radios.
Had a 6300 and then a 6500 with a Maestro. Now that I've got a 6600M, I have the best of both worlds.

Yeah, something for everyone.

After my disastrous experiences with an FT450D I decided that every knob, button and switch is a potential problem. That's one of the reasons I bought my 6700. I press the power button and that's about all the manual interaction that's required or wanted.

A real dream machine

Can you also run a monitor / smart tv with a Maestro? Or will that only work with the M models?
If so that may be a future purchase for me. Right now I have a laptop with my 6300.

There is no provision for an external monitor on the Maestro. If you have a PC that supports multiple monitors, you can run SSDR with more than one monitor(v2.x and later of SSDRl), up to the total number of panadapters your radio has available.
In the case of the 6300, two at most. One can be the Maestro and a single monitor on your pc running SSDR. Or without the Maestro, two monitors on the pc with SSDR.
