The FlexRadio Community will be transitioning to a new user interface in the coming days. The new software from GetSatisfaction, our Community provider has several new benefits. This upgrade will happen automatically so there is noting for you to do.

Here are a few of the new user interface benefits:

Mobile and Tablet Friendly:
New new software will provide a device-agnostic community experience with a responsive design allowing you to participate in Community activities more easily with your tablet and smartphones.

New Search Capabilities:
Added the ability to search within a category, and create a new conversation from a category page. Category pages are almost like mini-community landing pages

Added the ability to agree with a Praise

Added the ability to see the most recent community contributors

Added the ability to remove your “Me Too!” vote if you added it by accident

Added “Related Conversations” and “Related Categories” on conversation pages to help surface additional content.

The default community homepage shows the most recent activity

All good things come to those who wait - it will land, when it lands. There are 14 hours left in the day on the East Coast of the USA alone. 15 in Texas - the home of FlexRadio Systems.

I noticed this looked different on my phone today. Here's to hoping that it will keep me logged in rather than dumping me out every time!

Like the idea and benefits of this web page.
However, I noticed that you have taken away or not showing the current version of SmartSDR.
Can we get it back on the community home page?

This line is not dedicated to SmartSDR. It also indicates when a new version of PowerSDR is released, or whatever the latest FlexRadio update.

On my desktop the status line says "Loading a company update . . ."
On my tablet the status line says "Company Update: NOTICE: New Community User Interface Software"

To see the latest version of each item you can visit the main web site, but it would be nice to see the latest PSDR / SSDR versions on the community site where most of us spend most of our time.

Hi Ernest, Just click on the Company Update heading at the top of the page...this will open the regular Community page with the COMMUNITY/ TOPICS/ UPDATES Tabs displayed at the top left of the screen to choose from. Just click open the UPDATES Tab and you will see the latest software levels etc that you are interested in.

regards

Hi Larry,
When I logged in, that page always came up (as far as I can remember) indicating the version of SmartSDR: Without having to navigate all over the community.

Busy day, Tim! Like the new interface. I sticky version notice (PSDR & SSDR) would be a nice touch, too.

If you are getting a security certificate error, then your DNS cache needs to be flushed. This could be a problem with your ISP if their DNS servers have a long TTL (time to live) set on their cached DNS CNAME records.

It will resolve itself in time.
