Not opening new slice in 2nd panadaptor.

Lately, when I've opened a 2nd panadaptor on a 2nd band, SSDR's "+RX" button is greyed out.  I have to dink around doing things like opening and closing an additional slice on the 1st panadaptor before I'm able to open a slice on #2.  Anyone else seeing this?   Another oddity I've been encountering lately is when clicking on a DX Cluster spot in HRD Log, the 6500 doesn't fully change bands.  It creates a new slice on the spot frequency.  The new slice shows up as a "B" slice on the edge of the panadaptor,  but doesn't actually change bands until forced to do so clicking on the band selection button on the active panadaptor.

I have experienced the same problem and was instructed to do a reset to factory default which destroys all previous settings. I feel that this should not be normal since one has to expend a lot of time to re-enter all previous settings again.
