James, I think that more info is needed than NR and settings don't work. Other than the NR, what settings do not work? Are you using a Maestro or PC?

I am running the beta and noise reduction is working for me. In fact, the WNB I have finally have seen (or heard) it work. Any way more info could go a long way to help solve your issue.

Nr works a lot better for me here. Anf. Also now works, although not perfect. Not seen any change on wnb which has an effect on some noises. It still seems like work in progress but definitely better than previous versions

I have had good results with WNB. We have a low rep rate static pulse coming from a neighboors heating system and on 80 meters I get a consistant 8 db drop in the noise floor which sure helps when working DX on 80 meters. I am finding WNB works best for low rep rate pulses.

I think I figured out the WNB indicator on the top right of the display. When I select WNB the icon starts out dim and after a few seconds, I think the time the software determines the rep rate of the noise, it gets brighter and the noise floor drops 8 db.

If there is an interruption in the noise or if it goes away the WNB icon goes dim again.

I am very satisfied with the way they implemented WNB.

I operate CW all of the time and find the best improvement in S/N is to go with the very narrow 50 hz. filter. When using the 50 hz. BW filter there is very little change when adding NR, which I would expect. At QRQ speeds I have to widen the BW filter so I do not round off the edges of the CW envelope too much (signal will sound too soft).
