Noise and Inverters

My wife and I have a 5th wheel camper that we often take off and escape the Arizona heat in.  One of the issues I've had is noise.  most of the time we dry camp on BLM land and I've tracked the noise down to the battery charger and my own inverter.

I've changed both units out to supposedly RFI quiet models and to tell the truth, they are both just as noisy as ever.  I've since switched to solar and my solar charger which is a cheap Chinese PWM model is incredibly quiet.  The inverter on the other hand still poses issues.

Can someone here on the Flex Community, that can actually SEE noise, recommend some chargers and inverters that are quiet.

There was a really good presentation on this at SEAPAC... if you google SEAPAC and click on seminars look for one on solar and portable operation and you are there.... one thing that came up at this seminar was the charge controller amwas the major source of noise

Norm, also dry camp most of time and have found that nearly all modified sine wave inverters are noisy. Don't know about pure sine wave units. What power level are you needing?
