No panadapter signal on New Win7 Computer

I built a new computer with ASUS Z87 board, solid state HD and installed SmartSDR. The panadapter does not show any signal, but I can hear and tune with the mouse or flexcontrol. Where did my panadapter signal go? I scrolled down to -178 db, but no signal shown. Is there some setting on this new computer(Win7 Pro 64 bit) that I have not set? It worked yesterday on the old computer.

If you try to create a new panadapter, does it work? Does SSDR work properly on another machine? One trick that sometimes works when things get a little weird is to shut down the radio and REMOVE POWER from it for a few minutes (5 usually seems fine). Then re-start the rig and SSDR. Good luck!

Yes, I disconnected the power from computer and 6500 for 15 minutes and then removed SmartSDR and Cat. I re-installed them and still I have no panadapter signal to go with the audio coming from the speakers. All bands show no signal even though I hear many signals.

Ok. Sounds like a GDI issue.. video drivers etc. What video card do you have? Make, Model etc. Do the SmartSDR buttons work? Like Mode selection etc? Is the meter showing? Updating? Can you change bands? Never seen a GDI issue with SmartSDR, but the fact that you say you can hear audio and tune suggests that the radio is working and the flexcontrol working suggests the same for the core components of SmartSDR. If you look at the Radio Setup screen - and look under General - what does it say for Graphics Acceleration?

Larry: I checked the system information and it says: Intel HD graphics 4600 with driver version 9.18.10.3055; igdumdim64.dll and is stored in C:windowssystem32driversigdkm64.sys
