No headset audio

All of a sudden I have no audio to my headset. It's plugged into the phones jack on the front of the radio. I have audio out the speaker jack on the back of the radio. I've tried a second set of headphones and the normal power down restart. The headphone slider is not muted.

Any ideas?

What about the master head phone volume on the top right of smartSDR?

Jon, I have both a 1500 and a 6500.  I recently tried to get my 1500 working after it had been on the shelf for a while and had the same issue.

What it ended up being was that you need the headset plugged in when the radio is powered up or no audio seems to go to the headphones when plugged in later.

I am not sure if the same thing is true of the 6000 series but it is worth checking.   Power down the radio completely, plug in your headphones, then repower and reconnect SmartSDR.

Are your headphones stereo or mono some time I use to accidentally adjuts the balance control instead of the volume control. Make sure it is in the center.
